Kicking Off The New Year
Went on The Waco Run for 2010, and it was probably the best way to kick off the new year; well aside from me being plastered at Club Chambers for an hour or so (Damn you, Steven!!), and being fortunate enough for not being hung over for work at 10 AM New Year’s day.
Let’s just say the route we took with 50 or so MINI Coopers was AMAZING! We had so many people gawk at us or take pictures of us along the way. We really did piss off the Waco community by having a shit ton of MINIs fly around the roundabout at 35 and 77 in Waco, still. We also had the Aggie MINIs and some East Texas MINIs showed up to meet up with us along the way.
It was freakin’ fun. I didn’t take too many pictures of the said event because I was driving and didn’t want to get lost from the caravan. Hitting the apexes was fun as shit, and it makes me want to turn my Cherise into a track star.
I will most likely add(ed) the pictures I took to my blog’s picture gallery soon but here they are on flickr.
Edit: Here’s a picture of Cherise that Fuego took!
