Prepping for Vacation Time
Wow, I can’t believe I blew almost a whole day’s worth of pay on photography equipment. Worst of all, I didn’t even invest in a better lens, lol. I got a camera bag, lens hood, and a USB card reader for my MacBook for when I’m on the road.
I’m so ready to head on a trip where there is no drama, and no worries. It’s basically 4 days of fun in the sun. I have a feeling if we do scooter rentals, it’ll be when we’re not exactly sober, and people on foot will be traveling faster than us on two wheels, but even still, I think that makes me anticipate for excitement!
I figure I’ll dig the debt hole a little bit deeper and then worry about it when I come back to town refreshed and full of energy. I’ll be working four 40-hour weeks when I get back, so while it isn’t going to demolish my debt in any form at all, I’ll be able to pay off my Florida fees and those immediate “OMG, WHY DID I BUY THIS???” items. I’m just hoping that one of my impulse buys is not the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS lens. Even though it’s not an L-series lens, I still want it. Probably going to be my next lens for those moments I need to zoom in, and hopefully in time for summer when everybody is hitting the race track for their automotive/motorcycle adrenaline fixes.
